Workshops

I host drawing and painting workshops the year round.
Workshops include drawing and painting demonstrations to help support you to produce a small study across 1-3 days (depending on course length), with plenty of opportunity and space to work at your own pace. Together with me, you will explore observational drawing techniques and applying washes and detail with watercolour paints and/or pen and ink (dependent on course content).
Classes are kept small and intimate to ensure that participants have the opportunity to benefit from lots of 1-2-1 support to help build your creative confidence. Many participants return to classes to build upon their learning, widen their skillset and expand their portfolios.
Workshops are always very relaxed and encouraging; providing you with the skills and confidence to continue drawing and painting in your own time. Workshops are designed for both complete beginners and/or intermediates (please check individual workshop descriptions for further information).
Past workshop themes have included; Botanical Drawing using Pen and Ink, Autumn Colours, Spring Flowers, create your own Beatrix Potter book character, Seeds, Berries and Buds, Paint a Sunflower, Paint a Rose, Festive Food Illustration and Botanical Illustration for Beginners.
